Troubleshooting

Fixes for mail not arriving, not sending, DNS and login problems.

I am not receiving mail

  1. On the domain page, press Check my DNS. The MX record must show OK. If it shows Not found or Wrong value, fix it first.
  2. Remove old MX records from your previous provider.
  3. Wait for DNS to update (up to the TTL of your old records, often an hour).
  4. Check the Spam folder and the mailbox size. A full mailbox rejects new mail; enlarge it in Mailboxes if you have plan storage left.
  5. Is your account active? A suspended account shows a red notice at the top of every page.

My mail does not send

  • Authentication failed / password rejected: the username must be your full address, the server mail.jksoftwares.in, and the password the one of that mailbox. Set a new one in Mailboxes if unsure.
  • Connection or certificate error: use port 465 with SSL/TLS or port 587 with STARTTLS, and the server name mail.jksoftwares.in exactly. Some networks (public Wi-Fi, some office networks) block mail ports; try another network.
  • Rate limit or "too many messages": you reached your daily limit or a protective limit. See Sending limits.

My domain will not verify

See Add and verify your domain. The usual causes are a missing underscore, the record added to the wrong DNS host, or not waiting long enough.

Reading a bounce message

Still stuck?

Open a support request. The more of this you include, the faster we can help:

  • Your domain and the address(es) involved.
  • What you did and what you expected.
  • The exact error text or the full bounce message, and the time it happened.
  • A screenshot, if it is a screen in the panel (describe it in words; attachments are not supported).
Was this not enough? Log in to open a support request, or contact us. Mention the title of this guide so we know what you read.
